All the filters are there, including an optional one for CW at least, that's the manual says and they appear to be the stock filters, by looking at the parts list in the service manual.
I also see S-meter deflection when tuning in the ham bands on SSB signals. May need aligning, but it appears the signal is at least getting through to the S-meter. I haven't looked at the circuit diagram yet to see where in the path the S-meter is though, so not sure how much that info helps.
